Cap de Barbaria has made wine since the early 2000s in the island's southwest, from grapes such as cabernet sauvignon, merlot, monastrell and fogoneu, harvested by hand. They include the barrel-aged red Cap de Barbaria and the fresher Ophiusa. According to the wine press it offers guided visits with a tasting to see the process up close.
