Sant Miquel de Balansat: church and Thursday ball pagès

by Ajuntament de Sant Joan de Labritja · Sant Joan de Labritja

Fortified church of Sant Miquel and, on Thursdays in July and August, a free display of traditional Ibizan dance in its courtyard.

About

In the courtyard of the Sant Miquel de Balansat church, the Colla de Balansat gives the cycle «Ses Ballades des Dijous»: ball pagès in traditional costume, held since 1965. For 2026 the listed dates are Thursdays in July and August at 19:15, and a local agenda says it is free and sponsored by Sant Joan council. We found no official council programme, so confirm before going. Outside those dates the church can be seen from outside; no interior visiting hours are known. Currently out of season.
