Ibiza markets: Las Dalias, Punta Arabí, Sant Joan and the Sant Jordi flea market
Ibiza's hippy and craft markets: which day each one opens, seasonal hours, how to get there and tips. With the listings from our directory.

Markets are one of Ibiza's most recognisable traditions: stalls of clothes, jewellery, crafts and second-hand goods that are set up on the same weekday in the same place. There is not just one but several, each with its own calendar, atmosphere and crowd, and it helps to know which one is open on the day you are free.
This guide brings together the four in our directory (Las Dalias, Punta Arabí, Sant Joan and the Sant Jordi flea market) with the opening times we could check on their websites and in tourism guides. Times change by season and by year, so the last step is always to look at the market's own website.
Which market opens on which day
Wednesday: the Hippy Market at Punta Arabí, in Es Canar, from April to October. Saturday: Las Dalias, in Sant Carles, and the flea market at the Sant Jordi racecourse, which according to Welcome to Ibiza is open from 8:00 to 15:00 all year. Sunday: the Sant Joan de Labritja market, 10:00 to 16:00 according to guides, and Las Dalias in most months from October to May.
If you only have one day, Saturday offers the most, because two markets of very different character coincide: one with a hippy feel and crafts, the other with second-hand goods and antiques.
Las Dalias (Sant Carles)
Las Dalias is on the Sant Carles road, km 12, in the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu. According to our listing it started on 14 February 1985 and has more than 200 stalls of fashion, jewellery and crafts, plus bars and live music.
Its official website publishes a month-by-month calendar. In June and September it opens on Saturdays from 10:00 to 20:00; in July and August, Saturdays from 10:00 to 22:00. In October it opens Saturdays from 10:00 to 19:00 and Sundays from 11:00 to 18:00; in November, Saturdays 10:00 to 17:00 and Sundays 11:00 to 17:00. January is listed as closed. In February and March it opens Saturdays and Sundays until 17:00 or 18:00, and in April and May until 19:00 or 20:00. In December there is a Christmas market at weekends (Saturdays 10:00 to 17:00, Sundays 11:00 to 17:00). The night market is summer only: Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 19:00 to 23:30 in June and September, with longer hours in July and August. To avoid queues, the website lets you reserve a parking space at lasdalias.es/parking.
Punta Arabí Hippy Market (Es Canar)
It is held every Wednesday in the grounds of the Fergus Style Punta Arabí hotel, on Avenida Punta Arabí in Es Canar. The market's website says that in 2026 it opens on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 18:00 until 28 October, so this week's Wednesday is the last of the season. The season starts in April.
You will find clothes, jewellery and crafts. The guides we checked give entry as free (the stalls are paid separately), but this may vary. It is the most convenient market if you stay in Santa Eulària or Es Canar and do not want a car.
Sant Joan de Labritja on Sundays
The Sant Joan market takes place every Sunday, from 10:00 to 16:00 according to the guides we checked, with crafts and local products and free entry. Our listing shows it as open all year, weather permitting.
Sources disagree on the exact spot: some place it on Plaza de España, opposite the church, others on Calle sa Cala. Arrive before 11:00, because the paid car park fills up around midday, and bring cash, since many stalls do not take cards.
The Sant Jordi racecourse flea market
This is a second-hand flea market rather than a crafts market: clothes, books, records, plants, furniture, antiques and household items, with a few local artisans among the stalls. It is held on Saturdays at the old Sant Jordi racecourse, at Calle Montnegre 9, at the end of the village just before the road towards the airport. According to Welcome to Ibiza it is open every Saturday of the year from 8:00 to 15:00, although other sources give slightly different times.
There is free parking inside the site, but it fills up early; if there is no space you can park in Sant Jordi village itself. Anyone can sell, and those who want a stall must book it the day before. There is a café serving sandwiches, and pets are not allowed. One of the guides notes that it gets busier in the low season, from October to April.
Without a car and practical tips
If you do not rent a car, the AlSabini excursion leaves at 9:00 and returns around 17:00 on Wednesdays from April to October and ends at the Punta Arabí market, after taking in Eivissa, the salt flats, the Es Vedrà viewpoint and the north. According to Welcome to Ibiza it costs 70 euros for adults and 35 for children aged 2 to 12, lunch not included. For Las Dalias, Sant Joan or Es Canar by bus, check current lines and times at ibiza.tib.org, as they change by season and the sources we checked do not agree on line numbers.
These are open-air markets: bring a hat and water in summer, and something warm in winter. Arrive early if you want to find parking, and do not count on paying by card at every stall. Always check the market's website before you go, especially out of season.
